Portrait Artist of the Year
After her another successful submission to Portrait Artist of the Year, Leanne appears as a contestant this year again, chosen from over 4000 applicants.
Her time in the heat in 2017 saw her paint the portrait of actor Robert Bathhurst, who choose her large life-like painting to take home. It was such a positive experience for her arts practice, she applied and gained another places in the heats, her episode aired 9th November 2022 on Sky Arts or Freeview 11. Again she was chosen by her celebrity sitter, actor Jim Carter as his favourite painting to take home and reached the top 3 in her heat.
